Wow! What an honor to be chosen for the Palmdale Engaged “Engagement Spotlight.” We were over the moon to see the article in the Palmdale Magazine.
Michael & Carol Ross
Michael and Carol Ross have only lived in Palmdale a few years, but they have quickly made it their home. Their relationship with the City
began when they enrolled in the Palmdale Partners Academy.
According to Carol, “My husband and I were new to Palmdale and registered for the Palmdale Partners Academy to learn about the City’s
operations. What we got was so much more. We were privileged to meet many of the City’s leaders that keep this community running. We also met some wonderful fellow citizens with whom we
continue to connect.”
And connect they did. Shortly after finishing the Academy, Michael and Carol worked with the local Salvation Army and City staff to present the first American Classic Christmas in Poncitlán Square, a highly successful community event that is returning in 2016. The Rosses and their children continue to share their passion and talent with the community, participating in the Village Square and most recently performing at Kaleidoscope.
“After moving to Palmdale it did not take us long to feel right at home. We were drawn to the
warmth and friendliness of the people and the pulse of the community here.”
The Rosses are another example of our residents’ commitment to the community and desire to see
it thrive. For ideas and opportunities to engage in your community, visit our website at
